Temporary Resident Visa
Canadian Visitor Visa
Temporary Resident Visa
A Canadian visitor visa is a valid visa for entering Canada. Holders can use this visa to stay in Canada for a short period of time. The visitor visa can be used for single entry or multiple entry. Generally speaking, the entry period for tourists is 6 months. You can apply for an extension in Canada.
Types of Canadian visitor visas
Visiting Canada can have many travel purposes, such as tourism, family visits, business, research, medical treatment, school, work, missionary work, investment visits, investment, litigation and so on. According to the purpose of the visit, we can divide the Canadian visitor visa into the following categories.
This category is suitable for short-term tourists visiting Canada to apply. Applicants can generally be approved for a tourist visa valid for ten years (depending on the validity period of the passport), and can stay in Canada for a maximum of 6 months. If you still want to stay in Canada after the expiration date, you can apply for an extension of your tourist visa (Visitor Record);
International students holding Canadian study permits need to hold a valid travel visa when entering and leaving Canada. We call it a “minor study visa” to support the smooth entry of study visa holders into Canada. The validity period of this type of Canadian travel visa and Canadian student visa is the same;
Foreign workers holding Canadian work permits need to hold a valid travel permit when entering and leaving Canada. We call it a small work permit to support the smooth entry of work permit holders into Canada. The validity period of this type of Canadian travel permit and Canadian work visa is the same;
The Canadian accompanying visa is a travel visa issued by Immigration Canada for the parents of Canadian international students to facilitate the parents to legally accompany their minor children or allow them to stay in Canada with minor international students. This visa allows holders to stay legally in Canada. If they still want to stay in Canada after the expiration of the visa, they can apply for an extension of the tourist visa;
Applicants for this visa mainly travel for the purpose of visiting their children. Due to the use of invitation letters from Canadian citizens, PRS or international students as guarantee materials, the processing time for parents’ family visit visas is short and the pass rate is high. People who hold a Canadian family visit visa can stay in Canada for up to 6 months. If they still want to stay in Canada after the expiration, they can apply for an extension of their travel visa;
If the applicant wants to enter Canada for short-term business purposes (including attending business meetings, negotiating business, signing contracts, visiting customers, etc.), he/she can apply for a business visa. People holding a Canadian business visa can enter and leave Canada multiple times during the validity period of the visa. The length of each stay depends on the decision of the visa officer. A Canadian business visa can help applicants carry out business activities in Canada and establish contacts with Canadian business partners;
This category is suitable for applicants who transit Canada by car, train, bus, or ship (including cruise ships), or who transit Canada by air and stay for more than 48 hours. If these people cannot apply for a transit visa, they need to apply for a visitor visa in advance to enter Canada legally.

- Departure guarantee: It is necessary to prove that the applicant will leave Canada after the end of the visit period, for example, by providing proof of employment, proof that the family or property is in the country of origin.
The application time is about 3-4 months. It is recommended to prepare half a year before the planned travel date to avoid any potential delays.
Super Visa
The super visa is a visa program for family visits launched by Immigration Canada. Canadian citizens or permanent residents can sponsor their parents and grandparents to come to Canada to reunite, basically solving the problem of separating the two countries. The validity period of the super visa will vary according to the validity period of the passport, and the maximum period is 10 years. Within these 10 years, super visa holders can enter and exit Canada multiple times, and they can stay in Canada for up to 5 years. If you still want to stay in Canada after 5 years of stay, you can also apply for a super visa extension. At present, immigration to reunite parents is almost at a standstill, and the pool has not been opened for a long time, causing many people to turn to applying for super visas.
